Swisster.ch is aimed at the estimated 100'000 Anglophones in French-speaking Switzerland, living principally in the Lake Geneva region and the canton of Neuchâtel. The site wants to “support managers, scientists and celebrities who are established in the region and who contribute to its development,” The aim of the site is to help Anglophones better understand the economic, scientific, political, social and cultural events of the region and the country.
In addition to the editorial resources of Edipresse, the website benefits from the support of Société neuchâteloise de Presse and the publisher of L’Express and L’Impartial. It also collaborates with the London-based Timesonline and provides a range of services, including precise weather information, an advice column on health issues, community services and blogs.
