Mr. Valery V. Loshtchinin will mainly focus his intervention on economic matters, i.e. the economic situation in present Russia, the economic and social cooperation with the world, the current investment climate in Russia as well as the coming membership to WTO.
Mr. Valery V. Loshtchinin is Permanent Representative of Russia to the International Organizations in Geneva since January 23, 2006.
Born in Byelorussia in 1940, he was Deputy Permanent Representative of the USSR/Russia to the International Organizations in Geneva (1989-1995) and Permanent Representative of Russia to the International Organizations in Vienna (1999-2001).
He was Deputy and First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia from 2001 to 2005.
