Born in Baghdad in 1937, Baha Hussain Al-Shibib graduated with a BSc of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Manchester (UK) in 1960. Until 1976 he worked as an engineer in various companies in Iraq. From 1976 – 2004, he worked in the United States (President of the Arab American Investment – NY, and President of Amartic Consulting and Investment – California) before going back to Iraq.
He will talk about the progress of democracy in Iraq, the withdrawal of the US troops and the trial of Saddam Hussein.
