In Israel today there are more than 1000 deaf-blind people who live in silence, darkness and solitude. In 2002, twelve of them have formed the theatrical group "Nalaga'at " and since then their lives have changed. The non-profit org. "Nalaga'at" is touring "Lights is Heard in Zig Zag" which is acclaimed as the most surprising hit of Israeli theater and the most unique social breakthrough in the world. This group constitutes a symbol and example of integrating handicapped people, who contribute to society, and is part of a wider project to open a center of handicapped Jewish and Arab people in Israel.
Mrs. Adinal Tal will talk about her work on stage with those artists and about the show "Light is Heard in Zig Zag" which will be performed at the United Nations in Geneva next April 9.
