AIMS:
To continue building a Culture of Peace through Tourism
in support of the U.N. Decade of Peace and Non-Violence
for the Children of the World, and to harness Travel and
Tourism, the world's largest industry as a leading force
for poverty reduction.
Louis
J. D'Amore, President and Founder, IIPT, will give
a brief overview of the highlights of the Summit program
and the themes. Mr. D' Amore will introduce the speakers
who are among the plenary keynoters at the Summit.
Each speaker will make comments on the importance of holding the Summit,
especially at this time in light of current events; and what the Second
Global Summit should and will accomplish.

Presentation of the "Peace Gong" from Indonesia
to Jean-Claude Baumgarten, in appreciation for his
visit to Bali immediately after the Terrorist attack by Mr.
Setyano P Santosa, Executive Chairman, Indonesia Culture
and Tourism Board (ICTB) Mr. Feisol Hashim, International
Relations and Marketing, Indonesia Tourism Council
